General FAQs

1. Is there a specific browser that I need to use?

Our website is supported in all major browsers. For a better user experience we recommend to use the major browsers such as Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera etc.

2. How to get back to the homepage?

Clicking the sakura logo on top left corner redirects you to the homepage. 

3. What payment methods can we use in Sakura?
▽

We have 4 payment methods PayPal, credit-card, Sakura E wallet and Cash on Delivery (COD).

4. There are times I cannot see Cash on Delivery method?
▽

Some areas are not covered by our Cash on Delivery service, for areas that are not covered, COD will be unavailable.

5. How can I withrdaw my earnings?
▽

In the Sakura E-wallet page, click the withdraw button and enter your bank details. Withdrawals above 5000PHP will be free of charge.

6. How I can cancel order after delivery?
▽

For concerns about wrong item delivered, damages, different from what is posted etc., please contact us to help you with regards to your order.

7. Can I use this service without internet?
▽

Sakura is an online marketplace. In order to use the service, you have to be connected to the internet.

8. I am seeing "Location is not covered by our pickup service" what does it mean?
▽

Sakura's pickup service is only limited into some areas, this means auto-pickup of items is not available in your area if you see this notification.

9. I cannot see status of my order?
▽

Please confirm to seller about your order status using our messagin feature. Sellers need to put the tracking number of orders in order for buyers to view the status

10. The item I received is in bad condition or is not the same as with the picture posted, what should I do?
▽

If you have problems with the items you received, please do not click the "Order Received" button and contact us within 1 week. If no reports received within 1 week after the delivery, payments will be sent to the seller and we can no longer take responsibility of the refund.

For Buyers


1. Are there any charges to use Sakura to purchase products?

No, Sakura is 100% free for buyers to utilize. No subscription fees and no commissions to buy on Sakura

2. Can I buy and sell on Sakura using the same account / user ID?
▽

Yes. Once you register as a new user, you can buy and sell from the same account. 

3. When can a transaction be cancelled?
▽

At this time, orders cannot be modified or cancelled directly through Sakura. If you need to change or cancel an order that was submitted through Sakura, contact the Seller directly.

4. How many days will It take before I receive the items after I make the payment?
▽

After the payment, you will get your shipping number to track your order, it takes usually 3-7 business days.

5. How can I contact the seller for more product information?
▽

You can contact the seller using "message seller" button below the product that you want to purchase.

6. What are the payment methods available on Sakura website?
▽

You can pay the items you've purchased using Paypal, Credit Card, Cash on Delivery (COD), Pay Maya and also Sakura E-wallet.

For Sellers


1. How do I get started as a Seller?

Once you register as a new user you can start buying and selling to Sakura.

2. How do I post an ad to Sakura?
▽

Prepare the photos of your product and input the necessary information like product name, price, condition, shipping amount etc. Once you posted an item, wait for the buyer to contact or buy your items. You can view the status of your items for sale in your account menu. 

3. What if the buyer left me negative feedback?
▽

Feedback is how a buyer feels about the results of a transaction. We recommend that you attempt to resolve the situation with the buyer and request the buyer to contact us to remove the negative feedback once they are satisfied with the transaction.

4. How much does it cost to become a seller on Sakura?
▽

Sakura is 100% FREE to use, no strings attached.

5. What happens if the buyer does not press the receive button?
▽

If the buyer does not receive the button within 7 days, the price will be automatically sent to the seller.

6. What type of products cannot be listed on Sakura?
▽

All kinds of products are acceptable on our list. But be sure that the product is legal and working to avoid bad image on your account. Buyers can post evaluation on your account to avoid future scam or fraud.

6. Is there any limitation on amount of items that I can post on your website?
▽

You can post as much items as you want. Our website wants to help sellers to find their buyers to make a profit and to track the number of gain and loss on their account.
